Accra-based Nigerian boxer Joshua Oluwaseun Wahab, alias “The Wealth Machine,” is geared up to feature in the undercard of the historic undisputed heavyweight clash between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk, dubbed the “Ring of Fire.”
Scheduled for 18 May, 2024, at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Wahab will face off against undefeated UK lightweight sensation Mark Chamberlain.
Wahab, boasting a record of 23-1 with 16 KOs, will leverage his wealth of experience against Chamberlain, who has a record of 15-0 with 11 KOs.
Notably, Chamberlain has previously defeated Ghanaian Lightweight, Benjamin Lamptey in September 2021.
The “Ring of Fire” undercards promise thrilling matchups, including undefeated Australian Jai Opetaia against three-time cruiserweight world champion Mairis Briedis for the IBF world championship and Ring Magazine belt.
Undefeated Welsh Olympian Joe Cordina will defend his IBF world super featherweight championship against IBO title holder Anthony Cacare.
Additionally, unbeaten German star Agit Kabayel will face unbeaten Cuban Frank Sanchez in a WBC Final Eliminator.
Other notable attractions include former light heavyweight world champion Sergey Kovalev against undefeated Robin Sirwan Safar at cruiserweight and promising young heavyweight star Moses Itauma against Ilja Mezencev.
New Zealand Olympian David Nyika will face Michael Seitz at cruiserweight, and English featherweight Isaac Lowe will take on Hasibullah Ahmadi
