Young Kenyans of the Gen-Z generation have demonstrated understanding of the challenges of Kenya and generality of Africa countries, hinged on imperialist policies doled out through IMF/World Bank to puppet African political office holders with the view to continue undermining Africans economy and increase profits for Big foreign businesses and local capitalists.
One striking evidence is the open rejection of IMF/World Bank Neolibral policies by young protesters and their resilience, despite State militarization, brutality, repression and intimidation of protesters.
Against the backdrop of chronic hunger, starvation, misery and human Rights abuses in Africa, it’s important that youths and workers in other African countries like Nigeria must immediately emulate the doggedness, oneness and sharp political message of this Kenyan youths and mobilize for a United struggle against Neolibralism in our respective African countries.
Nigerian youths must jettison frolicking around IMF/World Bank agents, most of whom are holding political offices today or aspired in the 2023 General Election who present no alternative to the worsening economic crisis of the youth and working people in Africa. Young Africans must resist the attempt by pro-capitalist/Pro-imperialist political class to give ethnic or religious colouration to the struggle of emancipation.
The ruling elites irrespective of ethnicity, religion or gender are united in the looting and mismanagement of our collective resources while vast majority of youths and working people have no assess to portable drinking water, free qualitative education and health care, decent housing, good roads and other basic needs of life.
I salute the courage and resilience of the Kenyan youths and advise they work towards having an organize community and central leadership to provide coordination to the struggle. I also call on the Trade Union Congress, workers union, Socialist groups and civil society groups to mobilize rank file and join the struggle until all Neolibral policies are reversed in Kenya and ultimately dethrone the capitalist system of inequality, starvation and retrogression and enthrone it with a socialist alternative.
